10 quick things i anticipate will be met with a smile to some degree in 2008:
(no particular order)
* BJ's third b-day
* our church plant celebrating its 2nd anniversary
* 2nd narnia movie in may, prince caspian
* coldplay's new record
* BJ's increasing vocabulary
* friends - maybe a new one, possibly even one who lacks the Y chromosome
* 25th anniversary of michael jackson's "thriller" (what happened since then?)
* many more twilight conversations with Joney, possibly even a few in person
* ignoring politics and gossip
* seeing first hand what God's plans are for my ministry and transforming lives
good tidings to all and have a safe and blessed new year... celebrate responsibly!

Very good ones indeed! I hope 2008 reveals to you the happiness that awaits around every turn. I know it's there, it's just harder to find some days than others.
